There are many steam cleaning machines, some designed to clean the
kitchen floor, and wall tiles, while others let you steam clean a carpet.
Those that have a wrap around cloth to catch the dirt are useless, you would
be better off using a mop and bucket.
Those that give out a lot of steam, then sock up the dirt are much better
You do need to be careful with these machines, the surface you use them
on might get damaged by heat, or the glue holding the product may dislodge.
Don't stay in one location more than a few seconds, you can always go back
over the area again. Also be careful that a dye doesn't wash away or cause
something to shrink.
Used careful steam cleaners have their use, but a lot of care is needed
to use one.
