Save Water

Bath with a friend...

  • washing hands and face : 9 litres
  • brushing teeth : 1 litre
  • having a bath : 80 litres
  • having a shower : 35 litres
  • flushing the toilet : 8 litre

Its all very well telling us to use less water, when for years we used as much as we wanted, and there was always plenty. So what's changed ? Simply put, we now have water companies and no competition ! you either pay your local water supplier or go without. Unlike the Electric or Gas companies, where we can choose the cheapest.

So lets hit them where it hurts, using less water means we save money, and there is less of our money going to these profiteering water companies.

Start by changing things that wont cost you money, place a brick in your toilet system tank, the larger the better, use the shower more and the bath less...
